Ocean City Oyster Farm

Ocean City Oyster Company is owned and operated by the three oyster farmers (Martin, Keith, and Emily) of G.E.I. Oyster Farm. Our farm is named after the Great Egg Inlet of the Great Egg Harbor Bay, the body of water bordered by Beesley’s Point, Somers Point, and Ocean City. G.E.I. Oyster Farm has been sustainably cultivating oysters since 2019 using a floating bag method. The oysters float along the water’s surface, naturally rising and falling with the tide and growing strong with the gentle natural tumbling of the tides and waves. The oysters spend approximately 1.5 years growing to maturity and we were thrilled to bring our first oysters to market in 2020 to showcase the unique local flavors of our bay. To taste our oysters, please see the list below of restaurants where they are currently available.
